Incite Insight

Acrylic and gold leaf on 36”x48” canvas. Originally painted in 2009-2010, a lady with a Rennaisance braided hair walks on the beach, confident and comfortable in her nudity. Written in the sand, it reads, “With a flick of her foot, Cassanovina incites a riot.” The swan was added in 2017, it’s like the swan is the spirit of the woman spreading its wings. In 2023, Heidi started adding more features and details to this piece to make it more introspective and surreal.
