uRbaN Printing @ Open Streets

  • Tattnall Square Park Macon, GA, 31201 United States (map)

Join local artist, Heidi Clinite, this coming Sunday in creating a functional piece of art for yourself that captures the urban chic essence of the city of Macon!

Find Heidi's bright blue tent on the corner of College Street and Coleman Avenue during Open Streets this Sunday from 2 to 6 PM.

Open Streets is the epitome of a great community event! Several blocks will be closed off for pedestrians and cyclists to enjoy with lots of activities along the route!

Find more info about the event here: http://openstreetsmacon.com

Urban Printing is one of those fun options! Anyone can participate in this hands-on activity! We will be screen printing tote bags and BYOTees on sewer lids! Weird right?! But wicked cool!

Watch a video of how it's done here: https://www.facebook.com/mentalflossmagazine/videos/10155657330312365/

Tote bags are just $12. You can assist the artist in making one or buy one pre-made. Or you can even bring your own T-shirt to print for just $10. We accept credit cards and cash.

If you plan to bring your own T-shirts to print, the artist recommends that you bring a light colored T-shirt so that the ink shows up better.
