Murals

Heidi is happy to work with clients on creating fun, unique murals. She works with water based acrylic interior/exterior house paint. Stenciling and graffiti are also available options. Designs are open to creative license by the artist. She will run designs by clients for approval. Designs are made after signing a contract and receiving the deposit.

Pricing: $10-$50/sqft depending on the complexity of the design. Price includes material except scissor lift and/or P&Z fees.

Deposit: Half of the approved budget must be sent to the artist before work can begin. The remaining half must be paid in full once the project is completed.

Conditions: If the design is more than 12ft above the ground, a scissor lift must be provided. If the wall to be painted is outside of Macon within 50miles, there will be a $25 travel fee per day. If it is farther away, reasonable overnight accommodations and meal stipend must be made. Designs usually take 1-2 weeks or longer to complete. If the design is for an external wall at a business, the design must be approved by the building owner and the local Planning and Zoning Board (which usually includes fees and a public hearing and/or processing period) before work can begin.

Disclaimers: 1. Due to the heat, Heidi will not work on exterior murals between June 1-Sept.15. For interior murals during those months, the building must have quality air conditioning. 2. Heidi refuses to make any religious, political, hateful or distasteful art. Heidi reserves the right to refuse projects.

Mural on College St. Title: Curiosity and Imagination are the Foundation for the Pursuit of Knowledge. Two kids out camping admire the magic of fireflies in a jar. Their tent is an open book. The ground they stand on, the layers of earth, is actually a stack of books that have been known to inspire people for over a century. Painted with a grant from College Hill Alliance and the Facade Squad in 2012.
